Dan Laster leverages computer-aided modeling to streamline the design and construction process. With a focus on material fabrication, he seeks to efficiently design, construct, and disassemble buildings. His skills include 3D Printing, parametric design, and full-service book production. He has taught studio courses in computational design and hand drawing.

With an equally rigorous emphasis on hand drawing and digital modeling, Dan earned his M.Arch from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a graduate fellowship, with additional studies from Brown University and the University of Torino, Italy. Prior to RISD, he graduated Cum Laude from University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a B.S.Arch. He is a recipient of the Alpha Rho Chi Medal.

Dan is currently an architectural designer at Gensler in Houston, TX. He is a registered LEED Green Associate and Associate AIA member. When he is not studying for his licensing exams, he frequently reads, practices DJing, and paints watercolor.
